DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE,

AGA DC Chapter six-day comprehensive courses are designed to meet the practical and professional development needs of financial managers at every level of government. They also provide the advanced knowledge to instill the confidence you need in order to sit for each of the three CGFM examinations.
The program is FREE for qualified enrollees and will address the three key components of the CGFM examination:
- Governmental Environment
- Governmental Accounting, Financial Reporting and Budgeting
- Governmental Financial Management and Control.
The Program's 4 key eligibility criteria are:
- Being an active member of D.C., Northern Virginia or Montgomery/Prince George's County chapter of AGA (you can join now to meet this requirement).
- Having five or fewer years (early careers) of professional experience. Please note that preference is given to early careers but others should still apply.
- Obtaining your supervisor's approval.
- Committing to take the 3-part CGFM examination within one year of the training.
Training will be held on March 2, 3, and 4 with the second half being held on March 8, 9, and 10 at the IBM building located at 1301 K Street, NW, Washington D.C. The closest metro station is McPherson Square, Orange Line.
